Refund & Cancellation Policy
At UNEDITS, we're committed to delivering work that our clients are genuinely happy with, and we believe clear expectations around payments, cancellations, and refunds help build a healthier working relationship from the start. This policy explains how we handle these situations across our website, UI/UX, branding, video, and social media projects.
Advance Payments
For nearly all projects, we require an advance payment before any work begins. This advance secures your place in our project schedule and covers early-stage costs such as research, planning, and initial creative development. Advance payments are non-refundable once a project has been confirmed and scheduled, even if you later decide not to proceed.
Cancellations Initiated By The Client
If a client needs to pause or cancel a project after work has already started, you will be billed for all work completed up to that point, calculated on a fair, pro-rata basis relative to the total project scope and fee. Any portion of the advance exceeding the value of work already completed will not be refunded. We encourage clients to communicate as early as possible if considering cancellation.
Cancellations Initiated By UNEDITS
While rare, there may be situations where we are unable to complete a project. In such cases, we will refund any payments received for work that has not yet been delivered or completed.
Mid-Project Changes In Scope
If a client requests significant changes to the original scope after a milestone has already been approved, this may be treated as a new phase of work rather than a revision, and additional charges may apply. We will always communicate any such changes and associated costs before proceeding.
Revisions Are Not The Same As Refunds
Every project includes a defined number of revision rounds, as specified in your project agreement. Refunds are not offered simply because a client's taste evolves after milestones have already been reviewed and approved — our revision process exists to address this within the agreed scope.
Delays Caused By The Client
If a project is delayed due to the client's own delay in providing feedback, assets, or approvals, this does not entitle the client to a refund or discount, as our team's time and schedule have already been allocated regardless of these delays.
How To Raise A Concern
If you believe there has been an error in billing, or you'd like to discuss a cancellation or potential refund, reach out to us directly at help@unedits.in. We genuinely want to resolve any concerns fairly.
